Olya’s Love ist ein Film über ein lesbisches Paar, das in Russland lebt. Olya ist eine Kämpferin, aktives Mitglied der LGBT-Bewegung, ihre Partnerin Galiya möchte nicht, dass Politik zu sehr ihr Leben bestimmt. Die Liebe der beiden ist stark und sie möchten sogar zusammen ein Baby haben. Als die russische Duma ihre diskriminierendes Gesetzte gegen Homosexuelle verabschiedet, beginn für Olya ein noch vehementerer Kampf. Gleichzeitig wird aber auch ihre Liebe auf eine harte Probe gestellt.
