synopsis:
LoveTrips tells the stories of people that have to travel to keep their love alive. Itʼs a documentary on 12 couples involved in romantic long distance relationships across modern Europe, as testimony to human defiance of differences and distance. The narrative is achieved through interviews and expressionistic portrays, converging in a multifaceted exposition of experiences that ultimately result in a chorus or views that speaks with one voice. It recounts the story of love: the bliss of finding each other, the discoveries, the misunderstandings, the routine, the crisis and ultimately the rebirth at a more mature level.
